Better Breakfast Month

September celebrates “Better Breakfast Month!” This observance originated during WWI when the US government began encouraging citizens to focus on eating a better breakfast. The word breakfast quite literally means breaking your fast after sleeping all night.

As the new school year gets underway, now is the perfect time to start up a Breakfast in the Classroom Program in your district.
